Wellbeing Is My Passion
When I left Florida, I left behind a six-figure job, a fancy car and an apartment on the beach. When I got to Texas, I really wasn't sure what I wanted to do in life and felt pretty depleted from the toxic work environments I had left behind. The thought of continuing down that road made me miserable. I spent years working for companies whose vision did not align with my own. It was exhausting and I felt like I was wasting my passion and hard work.
Although I learned so much during those years and would never take those experiences back, I was sure I never wanted to work for anyone else ever again. Most importantly, I wanted to work for a brand that I could wholeheartedly believe in - so I created my own.
During my time off from work, I realized how much of my health and personal wellness I had sacrificed throughout the years. I spent more time cooking and learning how what I put into my body really affects my health. It really isn't just about weight, but I realized food affected everything from my mood to my gut health & beyond. I rediscovered my passion for wellbeing & nutrition, enrolled back in school and launched a brand that embodies food as medicine.
In the past, I felt that my work was not meaningful. Now that I am able to coach our customers with their nutritional needs, I feel I am helping others lead better quality lives.
Since the first time I had a ginger shot, I knew one day I would want to own a juice bar. But I really didn't think it would happen so soon. I really owe it all to my fiancé, Fredy, for giving me the push, support and financial freedom needed. And I also owe it to the brutal experience of working for the wrong companies, without them, I wouldn't be where I am today, and I would've never have had the strength or knowledge to be able to head my own company.
